Committee groups, minus the daily nudge
How do you remind someone to vote without becoming the email they dread?
Admin
Feedback Driven
Until now, a committee member who hadn’t voted got a reminder every single day. Helpful on day one. By day six, less so. You can now choose how often it lands. The default is every three business days (so nothing turns up on a weekend), or you can pick your own number, or switch the outstanding vote email off altogether. Existing groups pick up the new default automatically, and new comments or updates on a topic still send as usual.
Committee groups have also moved from cards to a table, which makes a long list much easier to scan. Select as many groups as you like, then use the bulk communication toggles to switch three things on or off in one go: the email when a new topic is raised, the daily summary of topics, and whether the community manager is included. Before you apply a change, resvu tells you how many groups it will affect.
💡 resvu product tip: let the committee hub do the chasing
About to email a committee member about a vote for the third time? Don’t. Put the decision in a committee topic and let resvu do the nudging. Members vote right inside resvu, and with the new reminder setting, you choose how often they hear from us. Everyone sees the discussion, and you get your inbox back.
One person, one line
How do you find everything about someone without playing hide and seek?
Admin
After last month’s one-profile-per-person change, the users screen now looks the part. Each person is a single line with every community and lot they belong to, so no more scrolling past three versions of the same name. Search a lot number and the right person lights up. Filter to one community and the rest step out of your way.
People can have more than one email now, too. One is the primary and receives everything from resvu, and any verified email works for logging in. And if you can’t find someone, the new Import Contacts button takes you straight to where you can bring them across.
StrataMax and resvu, on the same page
What happens to the old owner when a lot changes hands?
Admin
Feedback Driven
Lots change hands all the time, and the previous owner shouldn’t linger like a guest who missed the hint. This round of clean-up has resvu following StrataMax more closely. Former owners are archived properly after an ownership transfer, an email removed from a StrataMax contact card is removed in resvu too, and contacts that ended up as duplicates with different archived statuses have been tidied up. Integrated owners no longer show the same lot twice, and communities marked as Lost in StrataMax now archive themselves instead of sticking around as sites you can’t touch.
Set it up once, and it sticks
How do you get every new team member started on the right view?
Admin
Dashboards have always been customisable, but everyone started from scratch. Now we can set the column order for your whole account, so new starters open the dashboard already arranged the way you like it. Anyone who has saved their own layout keeps it, and Reset takes them back to your account’s version.
Email [email protected] and we’ll set yours up. The follow-up date column also shows on the All tab now, and can be sorted.
Internal comments, with the right people
How do you keep internal notes internal?
Admin
Internal comments are where your team keeps its own notes on what’s happening in resvu. Now you decide who gets to see them. There’s a new permission for internal comments, so you control who has access to the internal notes in your resvu activity. Choose no access, read only, or full access. Admins keep full access as before, so nothing changes until you decide it should.
There’s a new permission for internal comments, too: no access, read only, or full access. Admins keep full access as before, and search agents start with none, so internal notes stay internal.
✨ 75 small improvements, big difference
Alongside the new features, our team polished 75 things behind the scenes this cycle: faster pages, tidier details and smoother everyday screens. The small stuff adds up.
Bookings and portals, with less guesswork
How do you stop a booking wandering off between blocks?
Improvement
Reservation blocks now do what you set them up to do. If a venue is bookable from 12 to 1 and 3 to 4, residents choose one of those blocks, and a booking from 1 to 3:30 is off the table. In the resident portal, anyone looking after more than 20 lots used to hit a ceiling. Now every lot shows up. And issue a work order without a site contact, and you’ll get a clear message instead of a vague “something went wrong”.
The theme, in short
The common thread is time. Less scrolling, fewer reminders landing in committee inboxes, fewer “why is that person still here?” moments, and more room for the work that builds relationships with committees and owners. A few pages, including email logs and levy notices, also load more smoothly behind the scenes. Same goal as always: more time back for strata managers.
